Since 2020, private schools in Quebec come together as part of the Sainte-Justine Youth Tree of Lights campaign and help this treasured institution grow beyond its wildest dreams. Once again this year, through their efforts, participating schools will make the bottom of the Tree glow, as a symbol of hope for young patients and families across the province. Because there is nothing more inspiring than kids helping other kids.

Budding Philanthropists Shining Bright
Since 2020, these brilliant young leaders have kicked off the annual Sainte-Justine Tree of Lights campaign and added their own special spark to this cherished holiday fundraiser. Your support for their commitment has shown them, and us, that nothing is impossible. Together, we have made some 760,000 lights on the Tree shine over the years and raised close to $3 million. Many a heart has been warmed by this unprecedented show of generosity.
The impact of your commitment on the lives of the young patients of Sainte-Justine has been immeasurable. And now we want to reach out to even more schools to build further on this momentum. In November, your support will make the Sainte-Justine Tree of Lights light up the night sky, bringing comfort and joy to the families who will be spending the holidays in the hospital.
We can make the Sainte-Justine Youth Tree of Lights campaign, now in its fifth year, grow beyond anything we ever imagined. Help us light up 160,000 twinkling beacons of hope on the Tree and show people across the province what young people can accomplish when they work together to create change.

Kicking Off the Youth Tree of Lights Campaign at Sainte-Justine: A Unique Opportunity for Your Students to See Their Generosity in Action
As Youth Tree of Lights Campaign goes underway, participating schools have the opportunity to take part in a rousing kickoff event, held at CHU Sainte-Justine. This year again, several speakers, including this year’s ambassadors and a few caregivers will testify to the concrete impact of your mobilization. The private school students who attended the last events left inspired and feeling like they were part of something bigger.
Private Schools and Sainte-Justine: A Dream Team Since 2008
Over the past 17 years, private schools across the province have joined forces to raise more than $8.8 million, making this the single-largest charitable movement by kids and for kids at Sainte-Justine. Thanks to your encouragement in years past, the Sainte-Justine Private Schools Youth Challenge had built strong ties between your students and Sainte-Justine. The approach was reimagined in the wake of the pandemic in conjunction with the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation’s Tree of Lights campaign, its biggest fundraiser of the year.
This coming November, Quebec’s network of private schools will once again be invited to spark hope and help Sainte-Justine grow beyond its wildest dreams. By lighting up the base of the Sainte-Justine Tree of Lights, with donations of $5 per bulb, participating students will get this annual signature fundraiser underway and uphold this cherished year-end tradition. The rest of Quebec will be invited to follow suit in on November 30 to make the entire Tree shimmer and shine, all the way to the very top. The impact of your collective generosity will be unveiled at a spectacular ceremony during the launch of the main Tree of Lights campaign.
